Styling text objects
Beyond text formatting, text objects support:
- Background color: Add a background behind text
- Border: Add a border around the text box
- Shadow: Apply drop shadow effects
- Opacity: Control transparency
- Rotation: Rotate the text object
These properties are set on the object level, not the text level.
Multi-line text
Press Enter to create line breaks within a text object. Each text object can contain multiple lines of text.
Text in animations
Text objects animate like any other object when using Magic Match transitions:
- Position changes create movement
- Size changes create scaling effects
- Opacity changes create fade effects
The text content itself doesn't animate—only the object properties do.
Tips
- Contrast: Ensure text is readable against your background
- Size: Use larger text for titles, smaller for details
- Consistency: Use the same fonts and sizes throughout your project
- Spacing: Leave breathing room around text objects
